Welcome to the Cosh Chronicles

I have so enjoyed following all our American family's blogs that I have decided to take the plunge and join them. As a family, we have just loved meeting our nieces over the net and keeping up with the lives of you all - hope we can keep you all up to speed with ourselves as well. Any tips are most welcome - haven't really got a clue how to do this, so you will see quite a bit of experimenting for a while, I am sure.

Tam the teacher

Tam has just completed three weeks of teaching prac at Cliffview Primary School and thoroughly enjoyed herself. It has confirmed for her that she is really pursuing the right career. She taught Grade 0's and just loved it - a lot of hardwork but all worthwhile. She has exams this week and next and then is on holiday. We know that she is going to be a stunning teacher and God is going to use her mightily.

Talitha is Champs

Taliths competed in the Central Gauteng Acrobatics Champsionships on Saturday, dancing Level 9. She astounded us all, and herself, by obtaining a score of 9.8 !!!!!!!! She was just amazing and drew wild applause from the audience after she danced and when her score was announced. She was awarded the trophy for the highest Level 9 score and has the honour of the highest score at Central Gauteng Champs!! Now for Nationals in October. They will be in Pretoria. She now has full Central Gauteng Colours - was previously awarded Junior Cub Colours - Now she is a Lion!!!

Happy Birthday Denis

Saturday was Denis' birthday - can't believe it is already a year since we celebrated his big 60!!!! It seems like just recently that Mom, Mo, Ian and Sharon were all here for that special weekend. Went out for breakfast at Cappucino's to celebrate another year.
